A few words of love!
βThey are the most caring and considerate staff. We recently bought a weekend getaway on the river. I was planning on stopping by to get my dogs set up there just in case. We unfortunately had an emergency with my 11 yo corgi, they took her back right away and did all they could do for her. We had to let her go. They were amazing. If I could give them 100 stars I would.”
Kathy RussellβNice Facility, Friendly Staff, and Reasonable Pricing. The took great care of our Baby Girl through some very tough times. Thank you Companion Animal Hospital Staff for the great care you provided for our Baby Girl over the past few years. She will be sadly missed. We still take all of our pets to Companion Animal Hospital of Live Oak and trust them with all of our veterinary needs.”
Greg Lopez – KT4RAMβI just can’t say enough about how good nola and doctor williams are. Barney is so in love with nola that he doesn’t mind me leaving. The front desk is also very kind and considerate. I cry at the thought of leaving him, but I know he’s in good hands. Thank you, companion animal hospital. You’re just so good.”

If you want a place where your pets will be truly loved and taken care of this is your vet's office. I started taking my senior dog to Companion 3 years ago when we moved to Live Oak. Since then we have adopted 2 puppies who both needed serious medical care (rescue life) and had to help our old man cross the rainbow bridge. Dr. Trotter, Dr. Mandy, Dr. Williams, along all the staff at Companion have always been extremely compassionate and knowledgeable when helping us. So much so the rescue I work with has now moved their vet care to Companion as well. The staff here is amazing. I'm so thankful to have found them for all my fur babies.Posted on Google Linda LopezTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very nice and friendly staff! Also, very knowledgeable. The Dr (Baldwin) took her time with us. We are never rushed when we go there. All in all a good experience and my cat is feeling much better!Posted on Google Nathan DunawayTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Very friendly staff. February 9, 2026 I don't have enough good words to express Companion Animal hospital. My husband and I brought in a young, unfixed Malinois German Shepherd mix abandoned dog. The hospital got us an immediate appointment. I could tell as soon as I walked in without speaking a word, in the air, the vibe, the compassion, the actually not just hearing our numerous questions, but they actually "Listened intently" to every question and concerns we had. The staff at this hospital embraced the dog and us like welcomed guests. They walked us through every procedure step by step for the heartworm meds she needed, they trimmed her nails, they vaccinated her for rabies and other necessary vaccines. I got emotional a bit, and they were so caring and giving a "We got your back, we got your dog in a comfort zone" mode. They left no stone unturned to my many questions. I thanked them again over the phone this morning. The dog which we named Emma is going to go to a very special rescue ranch for Malinois German shepherds and other working dogs this weekend. Between the Companion Animal hospital and the ranch, I know that Emma is going to get a wonderful life that she greatly deserves!! The Companion Animal Hospital got the health care ball rolling for Emma. π€πππ€
